Hi, I’m Gary Van Dzura.
Friends call me GVD. I’m a Creative and Commercial Film Director based in NYC (well technically Montclair, NJ but I’m pretty sure that still counts). For the past few years. I’ve been leading my own sports & entertainment marketing studio. Before that, I spent 12+ years at Wieden+Kennedy in New York leading creative for ESPN, Jordan Brand, Sprite, Beats, Bud Light, Duracell, Tinder and FOX Sports. And I spent some time at BBH working on Samsung. My work has been recognized by the Emmys, Cannes, One Show, Clios, AICP & D&AD 🏆. I’m also an avid Travel Soccer Dad ⚽️.
